Does shopping bring on stress?  For some people that’s a yes and for others its a most definitely.

While many may think shopping relives stress, a survey shows nearly two out of three people in the US consider it the most stressful part of the holiday season. 

men and parents with young children say they are more likely to feel that way.  

Millions will shop online but Americans say those impulse purchases will happen when they’re shopping in stores.

In other health related news, people who have breathing problems from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease often suffer from anxiety as well. 

A new British study shows that cognitive behavioral therapy is a cost-effective way to reduce anxiety in C-O-P-D patients.

And a survey of former intensive care unit patients in the UK found more than half reported symptoms of either anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder or depression. patients with feelings of depression were nearly 50 percent more likely to die from any cause during their first two years after leaving the i-c-u.

Researchers say doctors should look for depression in these patients because it could be an indication of declining health.
