LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) – DOTD has confirmed that a photo of a large crack in the I-10 bridge making the rounds on social media is fake.
Tammy York with DOTD says, “I spoke with the lead bridge inspector and there’s no crack on the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge like the one in that photo.”
KPLC sent a reporter down to the scene earlier today and took a photo of the bridge which we compared to the fake version below.
