ESTHERWOOD, La. (KLFY) – An Acadia Parish woman is accused of fatally stabbing another woman during an argument, according to the sheriff’s office.
The incident happened around 6:42 p.m. yesterday in the 400 block of Miller Avenue in Estherwood.
Sheriff K.P. Gibson said the two women were at the home for most of the day when they began “arguing and eventually were involved in a physical confrontation.”
Crystal Fredrickson, 39, of Estherwood, allegedly stabbed Gabrielle Henry, 25, of Crowley, several times.
Henry was taken to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Fredrickson was arrested and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on one count of second-degree murder.
