EUNICE, La. (KLFY)— Authorities in Eunice will be conducting a pipeline rupture drill on Oct. 5, according to officials.

The simulated pipeline drill will take place near the LSU-Eunice campus around 8:30 a.m.

The drill will last until about 11:30 according to officials.

TransCanada Pipeline, Eunice PD, Eunice City Marshal’s Office, Eunice Fire Department and the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the drill.

Authorities would like to inform the public that there will be a lot of emergency services activity in and around the LSU-E campus, LSU-E Drive, Tiger Lane and the Eunice Airport.
