The FBI is using a billboard, and other widespread media campaigns to enlist help from the community in locating wanted fugitive, Ransom Cardel White. 

Ransom White, who also goes by “Ransom Racks”, was federally indicted in the Western District of Louisiana in 2018, according to the FBI.  

His charges include:  one count of 21 USC 846 – Conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine

one count of 21 USC 843 – Use of a communication facility in causing or facilitating a drug trafficking crime.

one count of 18 USC 922 – Felon in possession of a firearm and forfeiture allegations.

White is described as a black male, age 38, 6’ 7” , and approximately 200 – 210 pounds, with a medium complexion, thin build, and a goatee.

Ransom has been employed as a barber in the Lafayette area with a last known listed address as the Brookshire Gardens South, Subdivision, as well as a residence listed on Madeline Avenue in Lafayette, according to the FBI.

They say White should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBO noted that the allegations and related indictment is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
