WASHINGTON, La. (KLFY) – Firefighters in Washington are on the scene of a fire that appears to be burning due to a ruptured gas line.

Officials tell News 10 the fire is near a vocational school on South Martin Luther King Dr.

Crews are currently working on shutting off the gas line and extinguishing the fire.
