After a week of beautiful weather, clouds are taking over Thursday which could possibly indicate the calm before the storm as a flash flood watch has been issued for all of Acadiana through 6 p.m. Saturday.
Chief Meteorologist Heath Morton says 2″-4″ of rain will be possible across the area Saturday with a few areas possibly receiving 5” of rain.
He says the worst of the weather will move in Saturday morning and last through early afternoon.
