Four teens arrested after deputies find drugs, gun during traffic stop

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY)- Early this morning at approximately 2:28 a.m., a deputy with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office observed a dark colored Ford F-150 traveling south at a high rate of speed on Rees Street, in Breaux Bridge.

A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and when the driver exited the vehicle, the deputy smelled a strong odor of suspected marijuana.


The driver gave permission to search the vehicle where deputies found 22.5 grams of suspected marijuana, along with several items of drug paraphernalia, a bottle of Promethazine and a Smith & Wesson hand gun.  

The following four occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged as follows:

Logan Smith, 17, St. Martinville:

 Anthony Innis, 17, St. Martinville:

 Kegun Senette, 17, New Iberia:

A juvenile male, 16, St. Martinville,

Following their arrests, they were booked in to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and their bonds were set as follows:

Logan Smith-$9500.00

Anthony Innis-$14,500.00

Kegun Senette-$9500.00

Juvenile- After being booked in on the above charges, he was released to the custody of his parents.
