A fugitive from Lafayette was apprehended, Saturday night, by the Kaplan Police Department.

Gabriella Duhon was wanted on warrants for criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and second-degree kidnapping.

According to police, Duhon lured an ex-boyfriend to Acadiana Park on Christmas Day.

Police said Duhon and her sister, Hailey Altman, had planned to beat and rob the victim with the help of Altman’s boyfriend, Alex Arceneaux.  

The victim was able to escape and contact authorities, police said.
