LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- The Board of Directors of the Downtown Development Authority announced today that Geoff Dyer will resign as CEO of the DDA and Downtown Lafayette Unlimited (DLU) effective August 10.
Dyer was hired in August of 2013 as the Director of Design, was named as Interim CEO in December 2016 and soon after appointed as CEO.
Dyer will be returning to Calgary, Canada with his family to work for a planning and design firm where he will lead their Urban Design team.
“It has been my pleasure to serve over the past five years, and I am grateful for the exceptional staff and the many folks in the Downtown who have been engaged in representing the interests of Downtown,” Dyer said. “I am also thankful for the many collaborations and resources from other organizations who have been there for support.”
