Henderson Mayor Sherbin Collette has announced that the Mardi Gras parade scheduled for Sunday, March 3 at 12:30 p.m. has been canceled due to possible rain.
The decision has been made after careful consideration of the safety of parade riders and attendees, Collette said.
The parade will not be rescheduled, he said.
