While you’re casting your ballots today, protecting voters’ rights is a top concern nationwide.
We have been told that the Department of Justice will act promptly to protect the integrity of the election process.
And according to U.S. Attorney David Joseph, there are several ways Election Fraud can occur.
“Vote buying, people voting more than once, submitting fraudulent ballots, prohibiting people from entering the polling stations…” said Joseph. “I have designated my two Assistant Attornteys to handle any situations regarding Election Fraud and voting rights. you are asked to contact those officials. If you are dealing with discrimination, the Civil Rights Division will respond to those inquiries.””
If you see any form of suspicious activity or Election Fraud at the polls today, you are encouraged to report that activity to the Local Assistant U.S. Attorney, Karen King at 337-262-6618, or call the FBI Field Office at 337-233-2164.
