Interstate 10 eastbound near Welsh will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday so crews can remove an overturned 18-wheeler on the frontage road, according to KPLC.
Drivers will be diverted off through Welsh (La. 99 South) to U.S. 90 to Roanoke (La. 395 North) back to I-10.
The 18-wheeler overturned on South Frontage Road Wednesay morning, according to Trooper Derek Senegal, with Louisiana State Police.
It struck an abandoned vehicle, Senegal said.
No injuries were reported.
