OPELOUSAS, La (KLFY) – Interstate 49 will be closed in both directions near Harry Guilbeau Road will be closed for about 8-10 hours due to an 18 wheeler pulling a trailer with 124 cows overturned in the median.

A spokesperson with Opelousas police says that the time is needed to move the cows from one trailer to another and to remove the truck.
