It appears that the Youngsville Police Department saved its April 1 joke for today:

The department posted its “marijuana contest” in acknowledgement of April 20, the unofficial date recognized by some cannabis consumers.

News 10 would like to remind folks that recreational use of marijuana remains illegal in the state of Louisiana.
