- Voters in Eunice said ‘yes’ to quarter cent sales tax to fund public safety salaries. Jailers, clerks, dispatchers and firefighters will receive a bump in pay.
- Two suspects have been arrested for attempted first-degree murder after a man was shot in the parking lot of the Jennings Walmart last month.
- A 9 year old Duson boy suffered moderate injuries in a crash when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a pick up truck Sunday afternoon.
