There could be a recount in Jeff Davis Parish.

In the race for District 11 Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury, incumbent Butch Lafargue beat his challenger Paul Trahan by only two votes.

Parish Clerk of Court Richard Arceneaux told News 10 that Trahan would have to challenge the election by 4 p.m. Wednesday to initiate a recount.
