ROANOKE, La. (KLFY)— Jefferson Davis Deputies are looking for a suspect who stole a truck, officials said.
On Oct. 30 a suspect entered truck parked in the parking lot of Dale’s Auto in Roanoke, Louisiana and rummaged through it. During the process, he broke the ignition trying to start the vehicle. The suspect was successful in getting into a third truck on the lot and drove off with it onto highway 90 towards Lacassine.
The stolen truck was described as a white 2004 F250 work truck.
Officials stated that the truck stolen is owned by the Jefferson Davis School Board.
Detectives said the suspect is facing charges of the theft of a motor vehicle, attempted vehicle burglary, vehicle burglary, criminal property damage, and trespassing.
