Lafayette, LA – In front of family, friends and supporters, Lafayette businessman, Jim Dore, officially entered into the Louisiana State Representative race for District 31. The longtime Republican will be looking to replace Representative Nancy Landry, who is now term limited in the seat. District 31 encompasses parts of both Lafayette and Vermilion parishes.
“I’ve built successful, global businesses, alongside my brother Bill, and I’ve spent my career in the oil and gas industry. Louisiana is rich in natural resources and I understand the importance of oil & gas to Louisiana and the Acadiana Area. It is time that the Hub City be represented by an experienced oil and gas professional. I am ready to serve,” said Dore.
The election for this seat will be held October 12, 2019. For more information about Jim Dore, visit jimdore2019.com.
