LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Helping you protect your identity is important to us.

Beginning at 11:00 a.m. today, KLFY is teaming up with Delta Media and Shred-it for the Shred-A-Thon.

The free event runs until 7:00 p.m. at the Acadiana Mall.

All you have to do is come by the Acadiana Mall and we’ll shred your sensitive documents for free. Limit of 50 lbs. of paper per person.

While you’re there, you can also help our youngest flood victims by donating a toy or book, or by making a monetary donation to the United Way.
