LAFAYETTE, La. (The Advertiser)- Charges for one suspect in a March 9 homicide have been upgraded to second-degree murder.

Sean Perroncel, 32, of Lafayette, originally was charged Wednesday with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, according to a press release from the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office. Maximilian Trautmann, 23, of Carencro, was charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Now both Perroncel and Trautmann face second-degree murder charges, as well as charges of armed robbery in connection with the death of Pernell Boudreaux, according to LPSO.
