BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY)—A Lafayette man was arrested Saturday in Baton Rouge after allegedly trying to rob a victim he encountered at a strip club at gunpoint.
WAFB reports, that 28-year-old Michael Elliot was arrested and faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and attempted armed robbery after encountering the victim at a Baton Rouge strip club on April 7.
EBRSO documents say Elliot offered to drive the victim home, but instead of driving the victim home, he instead drove to a parking lot.
Elliot allegedly told the victim that he had a gun and demanded the victim to withdraw money from an ATM.
The two drove to an ATM, where Elliot allegedly drove away after getting into an argument with the victim reports WAFB.
Elliot was later found and arrested. No bond has been set.
