HOUMA, La. (KLFY)— Terrebonne Parish Deputies and the Louisiana Department of Justice worked together leading to the arrest a Lafayette man for video voyeurism and child pornography, authorities say.
Sheriff Jerry Larpenter tells KLFY that Brandon Leblanc, 42, of Lafayette was in Houma while working for a local contracting company while detectives attempted to locate Leblanc but failed after discovering the suspect had already left to return to Lafayette.
According to a news release, Leblanc was then arrested by law enforcement on July 14, for video voyeurism.
Detectives said after conducting a forensic exam on Leblanc’s cell phone, they recovered images of child pornography and video voyeurism.
Leblanc was transported back to the Terrebonne Parish Jail on arrest warrants obtained by the TPSO detectives and the Louisiana Department of Justice.
According to the Terrebonne Parish Jades System, Leblanc is being charged with two counts of pornography with a juvenile, and 38 counts of video voyeurism.
He remains in jail on a $160,000 bond.
