LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- A Lafayette man is facing one count of attempted first degree murder and drug charges.
Keymon Alexander was arrested Thursday in connection with a shooting on Jan. 12 in the 300 block of Hamner Avenue.
Officers found a 39-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, “but refused to corporate with investigators about what happened,” Lafayette Police Department spokesperson Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said.
The victim’s injuries were not life threatening.
At 9 a.m. Thursday morning, Alexander was located and arrested. Along with the attempted first degree murder, he faces two counts of manufacturing, distribution and possession of marijuana.
He is being held on a $165,000 bond.
