NEW ORLEANS (KLFY) – A 21-year-old Lafayette man, who was shot in the hip on Bourbon Street Sunday, has been discharged from the hospital, according to New Orleans police.
Three other victims remain in the hospital. A Eunice man, a Lafayette woman, and a Scott woman were also injured in the shooting.
Officers responded to the shooting at the intersection of Iberville and Bourbon streets about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. A total of ten people were shot.
Demontris Toliver, a 25-year-old tattoo artist from Baton Rouge, died shortly after the shooting at a New Orleans-area hospital.
