LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory served as host for the parade of champions.

Its an event where the state champions of all high school sports teams, individual athletes, dance teams, and cheerleaders are invited to participate in the parade and claim bragging rights.

The event on Sunday ran from Blackham Coliseum down Cajundown Boulevard to Cajun Field.
