LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- Keithlyn Castille was arrested in Breaux Bridge earlier today, Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman John Mowell said.

Breaux Bridge Police Chief Rollie Cantu said Castille has been living in an abandoned home. After the property owners filed a complaint, Castille went to the Breaux Bridge Police Station this afternoon and claimed he had the right to live there.

He was charge with unauthorized entry of an uninhabited dwelling and resisting an officer, Cantu said. 

Castille was held in Breaux Bridge until LPSO deputies transported him back to Lafayette. 

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff Office have charge Castille with one count of terrorizing.

Castille was arrested for threatening courthouse staff on Wednesday, which prompted the facility to evacuate and close for the rest of the day.

Castille is currently homeless and is known to frequent the Lafayette downtown area, UL campus and the Saint Streets.
