It will be back to school on Monday August 22, 2016 for thousands attending public schools in Lafayette Parish.

All campuses are closed for the remainder of the week due to floods.

News Tens Gerald Gruenig spoke with Lafayette Parish Schools Superintendent Dr. Don Aguillard as preparations are currently underway to have everything up and running.

Aguillard said several campuses and support facilities sustained damage.
