LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Thousands of people were affected by the wildfires that destroyed several areas of Tennessee earlier this month.

After all of the help Acadiana received after the flooding in August, the city of Lafayette wants to pay it forward.

Lafayette Pays It Forward – Tennessee Wildfire Donations Drive is taking donations to send to residents affected by the wildfires in Tennessee.

The group is coordinating with shelters in areas that were affected the most by the fires.

There are multiple drop-off locations across the Hub City, including Olde Tyme Grocery, Parish Ink and Rusted Rooster.
