A shooting has left a 22-year old Lafayette man dead.

Police say the shooting happened in the 800 block of MLK Drive. The shooting killed 22-year-old Tre’von Adams.

Police say they found Adams near the Beau Soleil Apartments.

One arrest has been made. 22-year-old Bri’ani L. Doucet of Lafayette is charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

The investigation is on-going at this time.
