Lafayette Police have identified a suspect in Monday night’s shooting on Marigold Loop here in Lafayette.

Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of Kervin Gallien, Jr., 33, for Attempted Second Degree Murder.

According to Corporal Paul Mouton, Gallien is alleged to have shot the 42 year old male victim in the chest in the 400 block of Marigold Loop overnight.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gallien is encouraged to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
