Hi, Hello and Welcome in to the Superdome and the Division 4 State Championship got things started.

LCA scored on their 1st possession then Ascension Catholic tied the game but that would be it for the bulldogs…  LCA cruised to the 56-7 win

Zachary Clement, who didn’t get to play a year ago due to injury is the games mop,  He and Trev Faulk happy to be two time state champs.

“It’s a blessing and I thank God, that i healed up… it’s just be a true blessing to be on this team.”

“It’s really special that these kids were able to win two consecutive titles they just work hard and do the best they can. It worked out!”

Meanwhile in 3A, the Pios and Panthers played in the state championship.

The only game this weekend that features two Acadiana teams playing each other. 

CNI scored on their 1st play and then Notre Dame took over… scoring 21 unanswered, taking a 21-7 lead into halftime.

If the Pios win it will be their first since 2015, and the Panthers are trying to win their 2nd consecutive state title.
