LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)—The 100 and 200 blocks of Crawford Street will be closed Wednesday, August 10.

According to the Director of the Public Works Department, Tom Carroll, the city will be adding permanent asphalt speed humps to the road.

On August 11, the following day, the 300 block of Crawford Street will be closed for the same project.

The project is projected to last from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

Detour routes will be posted.
