Lafayette Fire Chief Robert Benoit was inducted into the Louisiana Fire Chiefs Hall of Fame by the First Responders Christian Association.
He was honored Monday night during the Lafayette City-Parish Council meeting.
Benoit has been serving the Lafayette community for 39 years.
