Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies discovered that a Tier 1 sex offender had moved from his reported residence to a location in Evangeline Parish without notification to authorities.
On Friday, April 20, 2018 deputies in Acadia parish arrested Mario David Mata, 31, for failure to notify of address change under LSA 15:542.1.2.
Mata was taken to the Jefferson Davis Parish jail this morning and booked on the charges. He is held with no bond.
