LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- A Lafayette High student was not allowed to attend prom because her dress did not meet policy guidelines.

Photos posted of the LHS junior in her dress has since gone viral on social media.

The school’s administration tells KLFY that it stands by the decision to not allow her to attend, adding that it must be consistent on enforcing student guidelines.
