Louisiana’ Voter Registration Week begins next week

(WVLA) – If you are not registered to vote, Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin wants to sign you up during Voter Registration Week.

Voter Registration Week runs from September 24 – September 28 and all eligible citizens are encouraged to register in order to vote in the upcoming November election.


“The first step to participating in the electoral process is registering to vote,” said Secretary of State
Kyle Ardoin. “This fall, Louisianians will choose their congressional representation, as well as a host
of other local races and propositions. Get registered today so your voice can be heard on Election
Day.”

The Louisiana Department of State said the state’s Voter Registration Week is designed to coincide “with National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, Sept. 25.”

The next time eligible voters will have a chance to make their voices heard is on November 6.
