LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- Tonight, Lafayette City-Parish Council unanimously passed a resolution expressing opposition to “any possible sale, lease or third-party management” of LUS.

The council’s statement comes weeks after Baton Rouge-based company NextGEN announced that it was withdrawing its proposal to manage a portion of the utility system.
