BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KLFY) Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office say a man was struck by a car Sunday evening in the 1100 block of Zin Zin Road in Breaux Bridge.

An investigation began after investigators received a 911 call regarding a pedestrian who was struck by a motorist.

Investigators say the male victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.

The victim, so far, has not been identified and no information is available regarding the driver.
