A manhunt is underway for a suspect wanted for allegedly shooting a Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Deputy in the elbow and leg on late Sunday night. 38 year old Tyronne Louis is wanted in connection to the incident and is described to have a criminal history. 

Reports claim the Sheriffs Deputy was responding to a disturbance when he encountered Louis and was shot shortly after. His injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
