MAURICE, La. (KLFY)– The Village of Maurice Maintenance employees have begun fire hydrant testing and will be doing so for the rest of the week, officials said.

This may cause low water pressure in the area that they are testing, according to a news release.

Water pressure may be low only be during the normal testing hours of 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

According to a spokesperson, water may also be a slight discoloration but will remain safe to drink and use.
