A 71-year-old man last seen Sunday morning in Opelousas was located Monday in Arkansas, police confirm.

Opelousas Police Chief Mark McLendon said police located Paul Jones and immediately transferred him to a local hospital for a medical observation.

Jones reportedly has dementia and left home driving his Dodge Ram pick-up truck.

His family alerted police when he did not return.
