LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Several intersections along Verot School Road are closed beginning this morning at 7:00 a.m. due to road work.

These closures will be in effect until February 15th while crews continue the ongoing Verot School Road widening project,

The intersections closed include John Wayne Drive, Tolson Road and Polly Lane.

Detour routes will be posted and drivers are advised to use caution when traveling through these construction zones.
