Authorities with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s office have arrested 55 year old Dewayne Gravouia in the May 7, 2015 beating death of his neighbor, 67 year old George Prejean.  Authorities say Gravouia was arrested Wednesday at a residence in Carencro and charged with manslaughter after a fighting incident between the two men at a residence on Betty Drive in Arnaudville, turned deadly.  Gravouia is being held at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center with no bond set at this time.  The investigation remains ongoing.
