The highly-anticipated new dog park in Lafayette will have its grand opening celebration Saturday.

Beaullieu Dog Park is located at 411 Bluebird Drive.

Two and four-legged guests and their humans are invited to the celebration.

The event will feature a ribbon cutting, live canine agility demonstration, adoption opportunities and door prizes. 

The new dog park will consist of a large fenced in area with benches, canine exercise equipment and a pavilion for public use. 

It all starts this Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m.
