Long time New Orleans Pelicans PA announcer Chuck Edwards has passed away. The Gulfport, Mississippi native had been with the organization since 2007. 
 

Few details are known about his cause of death at this time. Edwards also worked with the Saints wince 1997 as a game host. Team officials said they would release a statement on Edwards’ passing, but have not done so as of news time.
   

Edwards was 49.
