ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY)- Today will be the last day for distribution of pre-filled sand bags from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. in lower St. Martin Parish.

Self-service sand bagging will continue to be available and residents are reminded that they need to bring their own shovels in order to fill them,  St. Martin Parish President Chester Cedar’s Office said.

Cedars said he would like to ask residents to please not dispose of your sandbags at the end of this current flood concern due to the possibility of a flood threat that will remain through the month of May.
