CARENCRO, La. (KLFY)- The city of Carencro is growing. Local entrepreneur Carrol Castille has been developing land all across the city. He has a new project that is currently in the works. 

 

Currently, Stage 1 is in the process of being built in what will be the new Center Point Shopping Center in Carencro. 

The new center will provide indoor shopping, said Mary Morgan-Huebner, spokesperson for Carrol Castille.

There are already several businesses who have committed to being apart of this new complex,” she said. 

Ideally, construction work will be completed around September, and the amount of jobs that this complex will provide could increase as more businesses commit, Huebner said. 

 

“We are hoping for a restaurant and possibly a bank,” she said. 

This is by no means the end. A lot more development is coming to this area.
