LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Two men wanted for the September 29, 2016, murder of 20-year-old Tyler Etienne have been arrested near Oklahoma City, OK, according to Lafayette Police.
Police spokesperson Karl Ratcliff said the suspected shooter, Fernandez L. Graham, and his alleged getaway driver, Delmont A. Howard, were captured by authorities on Wednesday.
An anonymous tip through Lafayette Crime Stoppers helped police identify Graham and Howard as the suspects.
Both men are being held in a county jail in Oklahoma and will be extradited back to Lafayette.
Graham is facing a second-degree murder charge and Howard is facing the charge of principle to second-degree murder.
Howard is accused of driving Graham to the scene of the murder on Ninth Street in a white Chevrolet Impala.
The two suspects then left Louisiana in a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
Police are not seeking any other suspects in the case.
