NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY)- A New Iberia Senior High School student is facing charges of terrorizing, battery of an officer after an incident on campus. 

On Thursday, March 21, the student was arrested after returning to campus while under suspension. While at the school, he reportedly threatened a school administrator, the New Iberia Police Department said. 

Police arrived and arrested Louis Miranda, 18, for terrorism, battery on police officer and resisting arrest.

NISH’s campus was on lock down for duration of the event, police said.
